Blaney posted an average speed of 82.125 mph in the 2018 race, while Elliott (and the rest of the field) slowed to 75.499 mph in 2019 in the 109-lap event marred by 10 cautions on 23 total laps.We saw a total of 13 lead changes in last season’s event, and 10 lead changes in the 2018 installment, so there is opportunity for passing unlike most conventional road courses. Blaney started from the ninth spot to win in 2018, with Elliott started 19th in 2019. MARTIN TRUEX JR. (+550) is not quite the chalk, but he is among the favorites. MTJ has really started to piece things together in recent years to become one of the most feared competitors on road courses.
Truex has posted a 101.3 Average Driver Rating, ranking fifth among all active drivers at this track. He has six laps led under his belt, with finishes of seventh and 14th.
CLINT BOWYER (+1400) might be the driver no one is talking about in the standings and playoffs, but he is still alive for now. He needs a big finish at the ROVAL, and he just might get the win. Bowyer is just one of two drivers in the field (Alex Bowman is the other) to record top-5 finishes in each of his ROVAL starts.

Speaking of BOWMAN (+1800), why not him? Smack dab in the middle of the playoff standings, he is another driver who is flying under the radar for a championship. He has finished second and fourth in his two Cup tries at the ROVAL, and he is a tremendous value at this price.

You have to feel for Wood Brothers driver MATT DIBENEDETTO (+4000), who was crushed after losing last week’s YellaWood 500 at Talladega by mere nanoseconds to Denny Hamlin. DiBenedetto is a talented driver with a lot of passion who is driving for a 2021 job. He might get one behind the seat of one of the big boys if he keeps pushing. In two ROVAL showings, he is 11th and 13th, and he has had several close calls for that first-career Cup win. Why not here?
