Jets Vs Vikings Prediction

The odds the Jets leave the west coast still in search of their first win of 2020 are extremely high once they get done playing the Rams on Sunday.

  • Final score prediction Chuck Cook-USA TODAY Sports The Bears offense did go on a tear for most of December, but they didn’t score more than 25 points against any team with a winning record (doing so in a loss to the Green Bay Packers; their end-of-season rematch was a 35-16 loss).

  • It’s time to continue our NBA odds series and make a Magic-Warriors prediction and pick. The Magic hold a record of 9-16 overall, and are 10-15 against the spread. Orlando is coming off a loss.
  • Jets vs Vikings Vegas Odds & Game Preview. Minnesota improved to 3-2-1 on the season after a 27-17 win at home over Arizona last weekend. QB Kirk Cousins was solid but unspectacular, passing for 233 yards and one touchdown. Cousins has now passed for 1,921 yards and 12 touchdowns so far this year. WR Adam Thielen continued his fantastic season.

Jets prediction The Patriots will grind this game away with a run-heavy approach led by Newton and Harris, with a few calculated downfield shots to their best wide receiver standing.

Los Angeles is currently firing on all cylinders right now, winning four of its last five games. New York, meanwhile, has not managed to get a single cylinder going at any point this season. Despite Gang Green’s struggles, anything can happen on the gridiron in any given week, and there are still 60 minutes of action to be played.

With that being said, here are four predictions for the Jets’ Week 15 clash with the Rams.

Sam Darnold won't have fun playing against Aaron Donald

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Sam Darnold is less than 24 hours away from finding out that playing Aaron Donald is, in fact, not fun.

Darnold said earlier this week that he was looking forward to playing against Donald. That feeling will be short-lived once Darnold takes the field against Donald, who is highly likely to be a frequent visitor to the Jets’ backfield on Sunday afternoon.

Darnold’s sentiment is understandable. To be the best, you have to play the best. Taking on elite competition is always something any athlete looks forward to. With that being said, New York is not in a position to contain Donald in any way. Darnold won’t be having too much fun when the five-time All-Pro makes a habit of slamming him into the SoFi Stadium turf.

Cam Akers runs wild

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Cam Akers and the Jets are simply operating in a different stratosphere right now.

Akers is playing the best football of his young career, rushing for 327 yards and two touchdowns in the Rams’ last three games. The Jets, meanwhile, couldn’t stop a nosebleed against the Seahawks last weekend and are not exactly in a position to reverse their fortunes against Los Angeles.

That means Akers is likely in for another big game. He might not thrash New York for 171 yards and a score like he did the Patriots, but the Florida State product will do plenty to leave his mark on this one.

Jared Goff spreads the wealth

Prediction

Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods better wake up ready to go on Sunday, because they are going to see a lot of passes from Jared Goff coming their way against the Jets’ lowly secondary.

Opportunities will be aplenty for Kupp and Woods against New York in Week 15. Gang Green’s secondary got exposed by Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf on what felt like every other play, and Kupp and Woods have a good chance to do the same. There is also a good chance Josh Reynolds, Gerald Everett and Tyler Higbee factor heavily into the mix.

Whether it be Kupp or Woods or even Van Jefferson, Los Angeles’ wideouts are going to be busy against the Jets. Goff will have no shortage of open targets to throw to throughout the afternoon.

The Jets continue their first possession supremacy

Seahawks Vs Jets Prediction

The Jets have not done much right in 2020, but they have somehow found a way to register points on their first possession in their last seven games.

Will that streak continue against the Rams?

Jets Vs Vikings Prediction

Los Angeles boasts an elite defense, but New York operates more efficiently on its first drive of the game than it does at any other point during a game. That should be enough to, at the very least, position the Jets for an early field goal to keep one of the few positive trends of this season going for another week.
