Crazy Dave is quite the shop keeper providing players with some great resources such as extra seed slots, extra deenses, upgrade Plants, extra levels of mini-games, Zen Garden Plants, House Blueprints and other miscellaneous rewards players will spend the coin they collect in-game on.

Unlike other games that I have played, it is actually quite difficult to purchase all of the products that Crazy Dave provides, some of which cost a whopping $150,000, meaning that players will have to grind out Adventure Mode a number of times, or collect enough Plants in the Zen Garden to grind out enough Money to advance to the next.

While upgrades and purchases can seem fairly expensive for players, there are some fantastic upgrades for players that they will want to prioritize as purchasing them will make gameplay a lot easier, if not, allow them to grind out more coins in order to fuel the income they need in order to buy the more important upgrades.

It should also be noted that players will have access to different content depending on what platform they are playing on, some even requiring purchases to unlock things that on other platforms are free. Again, while this is frustrating for players who do not have the time to grind, there are some strategies that will make the coin grind much more bearable, which I will write a guide for hopefully in the next few days.

The following are all of the purchases players can make in Crazy Dave’s Twiddydinkies and the best strategy players can choose in order to make the best use of their money.

EXTRA SEED SLOTS

The first kind of upgrades players players can purchase in Crazy Dave’s Twiddydinkies is the extra seed slots.

Extra seed slots can be purchased at any time and will allow players to bring more types of plants into Adventure Mode, though in most cases players will only need one extra seed slot in order to complete the first run of Adventure Mode.

As the second run of Adventure Mode will consist of Crazy Dave providing players with 3 choices in Plants that they must take into battle, players may want to upgrade to have more slots, as many of the Plants Crazy Dave suggests are completely useless for the maps players are trying to complete, evidently being extremely frustrating for players as these suggestions could technically make or break a player’s success in completing a map.

Players can purchase a total of 10 extra slots on all version of the game, except for the iOS, Mobile Devices with Samsung Bada OS, Nintendo DS and Androids. Although it may seem unfair for players to not have access to as many Plant Choices, this doesn’t prove to be much of a hinderance in the long-run, especially as mobile players have access to the ability to watch advertisements in order to access an extra seed slot, which unsurprisingly is the most common strategy players have in order to obtain more access to Plants, especially in the early game.

While yes, watching advertisements can be annoying, especially in the free version of Plants Vs Zombies, the reality is that in many locations ads are about 5-15 seconds long, with the longest being 30 seconds.

The following are the prices to unlock extra seed slots:

In most cases, players will not need all 10 seed slots, though I would recommend getting at least 8 seed slots as this makes the game quite a bit easier, especially for those who are struggling and need more support type Plants such as the Squash or Jalapeno.

As the ninth and tenth slot are quite a bit more pricy, players should avoid buying these unless absolutely necessary as many of the other upgrades are more worth it.

My advice, buy the seventh seed slot as soon as it is unlocked and only progress to the eighth when you have completed Adventure Mode at least once. If you can hold off on buying the eighth slot, do that, as the $5,000 coins can easily be allocated to something that will provide you with more damage.

The only time I would rush to get the extra seed slots is it a player if hoping to use a number of Upgrade Plants as Upgrade Plants will require players to take both the base Plant as well as the Upgrade Plant card, immediately locking a player out of a number of slots.

EXTRA DEFENCES

Extra defences refers to the items that can be purchased in hopes of providing players extra security when Zombies get too close to their house.

While players initially have access to Lawn Mowers when playing the initial Day maps, players will have to purchase defences that will help carry them through the later tiers of content or else they will be susceptible to having Zombies break into their home and eat their brains.

The following are all of the extra defences players can purchase in hopes of keeping their house safe:

POOL CLEANER

The Pool Cleaner is essentially the the Lawn Mower equivalent inside of Pools.

Pool Cleaners are not essential for the initial Pool levels, though players will want to purchase them fairly early on as players will rapidly be met with aquatic Zombies in the later Pool levels, especially when they get to the Fog stages, which will also cause players to lose vision of a portion of their map without the use of Plants that either blow away Fog or shine light to see through the Fog.

As the Pool Cleaner upgrade is only $1,000, players may want to buy this upgrade as soon as possible, as it does not really put a dent into their wallets.

It should be noted that the Pool Cleaner is only useful for the centre two lanes of both Pool and Fog levels, meaning that players will not find them useful in the Roof levels and may not even find them useful during Pool levels as the two Pool lanes are quite easy to manage.

GARDEN RAKE

The Garden Rake is truthfully an item that I never use, though players will always have access to a single Garden Rake in the mobile version of Plants Vs Zombies if they choose to watch a single advertisement.

Garden Rakes will the first zombie that spawns in a level, essentially buying a bit of extra time for players to prepare for tougher Zombie waves and allowing them to save some extra Sun in hopes of being able to plant more Sunflowers or damage dealing Plants before the next Zombie begins approaching their home.

Garden Rakes are purchased in bundles of 3, requiring players to purchase them for $200 a bundle.

Being as inexpensive as they are, there’s no reason why payers should avoid purchasing at least one pack to have on hand. Golden Rakes, at least in my opinion are the least useful extra defences upgrade players can purchase and I warn that relying on a Garden Rake is not always the best idea as there is a chance that it will bite you in the ass if you do not properly prepare for the Zombies that will quickly overtake your Plants.

ROOF CLEANER

The Roof Cleaner is extremely similar to the Lawn Mower and the Pool Cleaner, though Roof Cleaners will do exactly as their name suggests… clean Roofs!

Roof Cleaners, in my opinion are the most important extra defence players can purchase as unlike Pool Cleaners, the Roof Cleaners will affect all 6 lanes on Roof levels.

Roof Cleaners come in especially helpful as players will be hoarded by Gargantuars which will make their way to the back of the Roof by smashing through Flower Pots and Plants, effectively leaving players with no defences to protect themselves from other Zombies that may spawn.

The Roof Cleaners will cost players a total of $3,000, though if you ask me this is a very fair price as it is equal to the cost of Pool Cleaners as Roof Cleaners fill 3x the amount of lanes Pool Cleaners do.

UPGRADE PLANTS

Upgrade Plants are by far the most important upgrades players can purchase in Plants Vs Zombies as they are stronger variants of already acquired Plants that will require players to plant the base Plant in order to upgrade to.

Upgrade Plants are not initially accessible in Crazy Dave’s Twiddydinkies and will require players to complete Level 3-4 (Pool 4), Level 4-4 (Fog 4), Level 5-1 (Roof 5) and upon completing Adventure Mode. Players will not need to access the upgrade Plants before they are unlocked as the time that they unlock is heavily co-related to the levels in which their base Plants are unlocked.

Players can read more about the use of Upgrade Plants here, though the following are the costs, a debrief of each Upgrade Plant and which I would try to acquire first:

GATLING PEA (UNLOCKED AFTER POOL 4)

The Gatling Pea is one of the strongest pea shooters players can use in the game as they will transform a Repeater, allowing the Repeater to shoot 4 peas at a time instead of 2.

The Gatling Pea requires players to pay $5,000 to unlock and should be the first purchase that players make in regards to Upgrade Plants as using them can essentially allow players to only place Gatling Peas behind Torchwoods to completely obliterate Zombies.

TWIN SUNFLOWER (UNLOCKED AFTER POOL 4)

The Twin Sunflower essentially causes Sunflowers to produce double the amount of Sun they normally do, allowing players to collect massive amounts of Sun in order to fund their most expensive Plants, which often include the other Plant Upgrades.

Twin Sunflowers cost $5,000 to purchase and while players may expect to need them early on, they will not actually need them until playing through Adventure Mode once through.

The reality is that Sunflowers produce enough Sun for players to get through their first run, though players will need Twin Sunflowers if they hope to advance through Survival: Endless, especially as Twin Sunflowers can be used to free up space for more damage focussed Plants.

Depending on what content players are hoping to complete, I would recommend waiting on the Sunflower upgrades, essentially saving Twin Sunflowers for Upgrade Plants and Endless content.

GLOOM-SHROOM (UNLOCKED AFTER FOG 4)

The Gloom-shroom is a shockingly strong Upgrade Plant players can purchase as it provides players with 360° damage to all Zombies that approach it.

While the base Fume-shroom deals a fair amount of damage, Gloom-shrooms see much more use as they can provide players with new strategies that deal damage to more Zombies when taking up less lane space, essentially leaving room for plenty of Marigolds for coin generation.

The Gloom-shroom Plant upgrade costs players $7,500 and will provide players with a way to deal with Zombies in all lanes, though it should be noted that Gloom-shrooms do not damage Zombies from afar, keeping a fairly similar damage range to its base Plant the Fume-shroom.

I would recommend buying this Plant Upgrade early on, especially if you’re hoping to use some money generating strategies as many of them will use a few Gloom-shrooms.

CATTAIL (UNLOCKED AFTER FOG 4)

The Cattail is one of my favourite Plant Upgrades players can buy, simply due to the fact that they can damage any Zombies that are on the screen, including Bloon Zombies.

Cattails can only be used in levels that feature a Pool as they require a Lily Pad to be placed before they can be planted, though it needs to be noted that they will not do any more damage than a Repeater, though players can essentially rely on Cattails on not allowing Zombies to get too close to a house, simply because of their homing ability.

The Cattail is one of the more expensive Plant Upgrades players can purchase, coming in at a whopping $10,000.

As players will not see a huge increase in damage from Cattails, simply because they do not deal equal damage to a Repeater that does not have a Torchwood placed in front of it, players can easily ignore this upgrade until it is absolutely necessary,

I will say, it can be nice to have a Plant that can deal damage to Balloon Zombies and take care of lanes that otherwise do not have any Plants, but because of it’s relatively low DPS, it’s usually one of the lower Plant Upgrades on my list.

SPIKEROCK (UNLOCKED AFTER ROOF 1)

The Spikerock is a fantastic Upgrade Plant if players are looking forward to maps with lots of Gargantuars or Zombonis. Reason being? The Spikerock will deal both double the damage of a Spikeweed and will be able to pop 8-9 Zombonis as well as take 8-9 Gargantuar smashes before being destroyed.

Spikerocks are crucial for Zombotony game modes and can be used as an asset for levels with hoards of Gargantuars as they can both deal damage to the Gargantuar and also slow them down before they get to your heavy damage dealing Plants.

Spikerocks will cost the player $7,500, making them a medium expense, though choosing to hold off on them will strongly depend on a player’s strategy.

I personally like having the Spikerock Upgrade Plant as they provide massive amounts of damage to Zombies when placed in front of Tall-nuts and Wall-nuts, being one of my favourite strategies when dealing with Zombies, especially when trying to generate a money farm.

As mentioned, if you are hoping to complete any Zombotony game-modes, you will absolutely need the Spikerock upgrade as there is no other real way to deal with the Zombonis at the pace that they spawn.

GOLD MAGNET (UNLOCKED AFTER ROOF 1)

The Gold Magnet is by far the most useless Plant Upgrade players can purchase unless they are hoping to generate a coin farm.

Gold Magnets deal no damage and do not rid Zombies of their metallic shields or weapons, unlike their base Plant the Magnet-shroom.

Gold Magnets are essentially the lazy man’s Plant for picking up coins that drop from all sources, including Marigolds and Zombies.

Unfortunately, Gold Magnets will not pick up any Sun, making them less useful for players as having a Gold Magnets that picks up Sun would essentially make the game much more manageable for those who want to essentially only coin farm.

Due to the lack of use that players get out of Gold Magnets, I would strongly recommend against buying them early, saving the $3,000 you would spend on the Gold Magnet and instead use it on another upgrade until you’re ready to farm out that sweet, sweet coin.

Although I say not to buy the Gold Magnet early, I urge you not to mistake this with “do not buy the Gold Magnet at all” as the Gold Magnet sees a lot of good use when it is used on maps with lots of Marigolds. If you’re not planning on taking a Marigold, do not take the Gold Magnet ever. It’s just a waste of a seed slot as well as a space if placed on the map.

WINTER MELON (UNLOCKED AFTER COMPLETING ADVENTURE MODE)

The Winter Melon is one of two extremely powerful Plant Upgrades players can purchase in Plants Vs Zombies.

Not only will the Winter Melon continue to deal Heavy Damage like its precursor the Melon-pult, the Winter Melon will also freeze and slow enemy Zombies similar to how a Snow Pea would.

The best thing about the Winter Melon is the fact that it continued to deal AoE damage to Zombies that are nearby the initial damaged Zombie, also applying the freezing effect onto them as it would to the Zombie in the lane it is placed in.

Winter Melons cost a whopping $10,000 and while players may initially be deterred by its massive cost, players will essentially need the Winter Melon to complete late game content, especially if they do not have access to Cob Cannons.

Winter Melons can often handle large hoards of Zombies on their own, making lots of room for Marigolds for coin farming. The main issue with Winter Melons is how much Sun they take to place, essentially meaning that Winter Melons will require two columns of Sunflowers if not Twin Sunflowers to properly fuel.

COB CANNON

The Cob Cannon is undeniably the most powerful Plant Upgrade players can purchase in all of Plants Vs Zombies, requiring two Kernel-pults in order to place.

Cob Cannons are also the only stationary Plant that require players to target a certain area to damage Zombies, dealing the same amount of damage as a Cherry Bomb.

The amazing thing about Cob Cannons is the fact that they recharge faster than Cherry Bombs and have unlimited charges, essentially making a column of them unbeatable.

The two “issues” with Cob Cannons is their extremely expensive coin cost, being $20,000 as well as the Cob Cannon’s undeniably high Sun cost.

Cob Cannons, similar to Winter Melons are necessary for completing end game content and while players may not see much use of them in the mid-game, players will want to rely on them later.

Players can wait on purchasing the Cob Cannons until they are ready to complete Endless game-modes as they will not want to use these pricy beasts for completing Adventure Mode for the second time.

GAME PACKS

The unfortunate thing about many of the new versions of Plants Vs Zombies is the requirement to pay to unlock mini-games and puzzles.

Players in the original version of the game had access to a number of these, though players will have to spend time grinding out the main version of the game as well as the lower tier content if they hope to gain access to the many side games in Plants Vs Zombies.

It should be noted that there are variances in which devices have access to each mini-game and puzzle, though prices do not differ.

A note will be made on each mini-game and puzzle of which devices have these capabilities.

ZOMBOTANY

The ZomBotany game is a mandatory purchase for players who are on iOS devices and players on Android.

ZomBotany requires $10,000 to purchase and is not available on the iPad.

The ZomBotany mini-game requires players to place Plants while in combat with Zombies that have Plant heads.

Essentially players will be against Zombies that can now damage from afar if they are Pea Shooters or Gatling Peas, explode if they are Jalapenos, sqash if they are Squashes or take extra damage when they are Tall-nuts or Wall-nuts.

The ZomBotany mini-game is unlocked after completing Level 3-2 (Pool 2).

MINI-GAME PACK 1

The Mini-game Pack 1 purchase unlocks 3 mini-games and is only available on the iOs and Android version of Plants Vs Zombies.

Mini-game Pack 1 will cost players $50,000.

Similar to ZomBotany, players will not be able to play any of the Mini-game Pack 1 on the iPad.

Games included included in Mini-game Pack 1 include:

ZOMBIQUARIUM

The Zombiquarium is a call-back to Insaniquarium, which I’m shocked hasn’t been remade by PopCap games on mobile, since it’s such a fantastic game.

Zombiquarium requires players to feed brains to Snorkel Zombies which will produce Sun, using the Sun to purchase more Snorkel Zombies in hopes of producing more Sun to purchase the Trophy.

COLUMN LIKE YOU SEE ‘EM

The Column Like You See ‘Em mini-game is a conveyor-belt type mini-game which requires players to place columns of Plants in hopes of defending their Roof.

Unlike other conveyer-belt mini-games, players will place identical Plants in the columns that they select, though if a slot is already occupied by a Plant when a player tries to place another column, the selection will fill in only the slots that are missing.

Similarly, since players are only able to plant in Flower Pots while on the Roof, if a column is lacking Flower Pots or a Flower Pot is destroyed, no Plant will appear in that slot.

IT’S RAINING SEEDS

The It’s Raining Seeds mini-game is an interesting mini-game where players will have to play through a Fog level.

In It’s Raining Seeds, players will have the chance of any night-time Plants, other than the Grave Busters, Coffee Beans, Imitater and Upgrade Plants, and will have to pick up seed packets in order to plant Plants to defend their house.

The It’s Raining Seeds mini-game has a similar vibe to a conveyer-belt style mini-game due to the random generation of Plants.

MINI-GAME PACK 2

The Mini-game Pack 2 purchase unlocks 3 mini-games and is only available on the iOs and Android version of Plants Vs Zombies.

Mini-game Pack 2 will cost players $50,000.

Similar to ZomBotany, players will not be able to play any of the Mini-game Pack 2 on the iPad.

Games included included in Mini-game Pack 2 include:

PORTAL COMBAT

Portal Combat is a bit of a challenging mini-game that requires players to place Plants that are chosen for them on a conveyor-belt in order to kill Zombies.

Unlike all other conveyor-belt mini-games, players will have to strategize by placing their Plants in front of portals that will essentially transport their ammo into another lane, allowing players to properly damage the Zombies that spawn.

The Portal Combat mini-games features 4 portals, the first is located in the second row, which teleports ammunition to the second portal in the top row and the third portal is in the third row which teleports ammunition to the bottom row.

Zombies will be able to enter these portals, meaning that players can buy extra time for damage to be dealt, making this mini-game a bit easier for players to blast through.

It should be noted that Portals will shift positions throughout this mini-game, though the Portals on the left will always be the entrance when the Portals on the right will always be the exit.

BEGHOULED

Begouled is a mini-game that is based on Bejeweled, requiring players to match 3 of the same Plant type on order to create a match,

Players can match more than 3 Plants at a time to receive more Sun which can be used to upgrade their Plants. The same can be said about making chains in matches.

If a Plant is eaten, it will be replaced with a crater, similar to that of a Doom Shroom when it explodes.

Players must make a total of 75 matches in order to win Beghouled.

SLOT MACHINE

Plants Vs Zombies For Pc

The Slot Machine mini-game is another RNG type of game where players will have to rely on their pulls to place the Plants that they will need in order to complete the mini-game.

The Slot Machine can drop the seed packets for Peashooters, Snow Peas, Sunflowers and Wall-nuts.

Players will also be able to collect extra Sun, requiring a total of 2,000 Sun in order to complete the mini-game.

While it may seem too easy to collect 2,000 Sun, players should note that they will have to turn in 25 Sun for each pull. The issue with taking a pull on the Slot Machine is that some combinations will not provide players with any rewards.

The best use of the Slot Machine mini-game is for coin generation as players can roll 3 diamonds in hopes of getting some sweet, sweet cash.

Players may want to stay under 2,000 Sun in order to continuously spin the Slot Machine in hopes of getting the 3 Diamonds.

Although not necessary, players may want to buy the Mini-game Pack 2 first so that they can grind the Slot Machine for extra money.

MINI-GAME PACK 3

The Mini-game Pack 3 purchase unlocks 3 mini-games and is only available on the iOs and Android version of Plants Vs Zombies.

Mini-game Pack 3 will cost players $50,000.

Similar to ZomBotany, players will not be able to play any of the Mini-game Pack 3 on the iPad.

Games included included in Mini-game Pack 3 include:

WALL-NUT BOWLING 2

The Wall-nut Bowling 2 is a tougher version of the original Wall-nut Bowling mini-game, the main difference being the addition of Giant Wall-nuts which are able to destroy all Zombies in the lane it rolls down.

The Wall-nut Bowling 2 mini-game also introduces new Zombies including:

Dancing Zombies

Backup Dancers

Screen Door Zombies

The most notable Zombie is the Screen Door Zombies as they will require 4 Wall-nut hits to kill, though if players are strategic and hit a Screen Door Zombie on Wall-nut riccochet, the Screen Door Zombie will die immediately, similar to it being damaged by a catapulting Plant.

SEEING STARS

The Seeing Stars mini-game is a fun mini-game that requires players to place Plants like normal, with the addition of having the need to plant Starfruit in the shape of a giant star.

Players will be allowed to plant the majority of other Plants, including Tall-nuts, Repeaters and Snow Peas to provide the player with extra defenses before they are able to place all 14 Starfruit required to complete the mini-game.

If players are fast enough and clear the Seeing Stars mini-game before the first wave they will acquire the Shooting Star achievement.

By far the Seeing Star mini-game is one of my favourites to play, simply because I love Starfruit.

BOBSLED BONANZA

The Bobsled Bonanza mini-game is a mini-game that features many Zombonis and Zombie Bobsled Teams.

Players are met with 4 ice trails left in the ground lanes and must defend against the hoards of Zombies, including Zombies that infiltrate the Pool lanes.

MINI-GAME PACK 4

Free Plants Vs Zombies

The Mini-game Pack 4 purchase unlocks 3 mini-games and is only available on the iOs and Android version of Plants Vs Zombies.

Mini-game Pack 4 will cost players $50,000.

Similar to ZomBotany, players will not be able to play any of the Mini-game Pack 4 on the iPad.

Games included included in Mini-game Pack 4 include:

INVISI-GHOUL

The Invisi-ghoul mini-game if a bit of a frustrating mini-game simply because all Zombies are invisible, requiring players to be extra careful not to let Zombies infiltrate their house.

While Zombies are invisible, players will still be able to see elements of them, including buckets and roadcones when they fall off dead Zombies as well as the ice trails that are created by Zombonis.

Players will want to make sure that there are Plants in every lane as the biggest issue tends to be Zombies infiltrating Pool lanes.

LAST STAND

The Last Stand mini-game requires players to complete five flags in the Pool map, only providing players with 5,000 Sun initially and providing players with 250 Sun after each round.

Many players use the Last Stand mini-game to farm out coins as waves do not have very many changes to them, other than Zombies infiltrating different lanes.

Because of Last Stand’s capability to be a coin farm, players are recommended to buy Mini-game Pack 4 either first or second.

ZOMBOTANY 2

The ZomBotany 2 mini-game is a harder version of ZomBotany and features Zombies that have Plant heads, essentially making it so players have a higher chance of losing Plants.

ZomBotany 2 is more difficult than ZomBotany simply because players will be playing on a Pool map instead of the Day map, featuring Ducky Tube Zombies.

MINI-GAME PACK 5

The Mini-game Pack 5 purchase unlocks 4 mini-games and is only available on the iOs and Android version of Plants Vs Zombies.

Mini-game Pack 5 will cost players $50,000.

Similar to ZomBotany, players will not be able to play any of the Mini-game Pack 5 on the iPad.

BEGHOULED TWIST

The Beghouled Twist mini-game is another Bejeweled resemblant mini-game that requires players to make 75 Plant matches, though players will now have to twist lants clockwise to make groups of 3 or more.

Similar to Beghouled, if players have a Plant that gets eaten it will be replaced with a crater which must be filled by spending 200 Sun.

BUTTERED POPCORN

The Buttered Popcorn mini-game takes place on a Pool map and requires players to beat the level with only 4 Cob Cannons.

Players must destroy all Zombies that approach them, though players cannot place any more Plants, meaning that if any of the Cob Cannons are destroyed it is GG Game Over, simply because there are no Lawn Mowers or Pool Cleaners.

POGO PARTY

The Pogo Party mini-game features hoards of Pogo Zombies that must be blocked by using Tall-nuts or Magnet-shrooms with the assistance of damage dealing Plants.

While Pogo Party doesn’t seem like it would be that difficult of a mini-game, players will want to make sure that they have these two defensive Plants as it will easily intensify the mini-game without.

ZOMBIE NIBLE ZOMBIE QUICK

The Zombie Nimble Zombie Quick is a mini-game that causes Zombies to move twice as fast. Not only that, Plants will shoot twice as fast, falling Sun will spawn twice as fast and seed packets will also charge twice as fast.

The Zombie Nible Zombie Quick mini-game is essentially a “fast-mode” mini-game, meaning that it is not that difficult to beat and quite realistically, I wish that it was an option in the regular game-mode, because it’s how I prefer to play Plants Vs Zombies.

SLOT MACHINE

The Slot Machine is a mandatory purchase that can only be bought on the HD iPad version of Plants Vs Zombies.

The Slot Machine costs $10,000 and is essentially the same as the Slot Machine mini-game that is part of Mini-game Pack 2 on other devices.

Players will have to spin the Slot Machine in order to acquire the Plants to defend their base and will still have the opportunity to roll 3 Diamonds in order to make some extra quick cash.

MINI-GAME PACK

The Mini-game Pack is the HD iPad’s equivilent of a Mini-game pack on all other devices.

After spending $50,000 players will acquire the following Mini-games:

ZOMBIQUARIUM

The Zombiquarium is a call-back to Insaniquarium, which I’m shocked hasn’t been remade by PopCap games on mobile, since it’s such a fantastic game.

Zombiquarium requires players to feed brains to Snorkel Zombies which will produce Sun, using the Sun to purchase more Snorkel Zombies in hopes of producing more Sun to purchase the Trophy.

PORTAL COMBAT

Portal Combat is a bit of a challenging mini-game that requires players to place Plants that are chosen for them on a conveyor-belt in order to kill Zombies.

Unlike all other conveyor-belt mini-games, players will have to strategize by placing their Plants in front of portals that will essentially transport their ammo into another lane, allowing players to properly damage the Zombies that spawn.

The Portal Combat mini-games features 4 portals, the first is located in the second row, which teleports ammunition to the second portal in the top row and the third portal is in the third row which teleports ammunition to the bottom row.

Zombies will be able to enter these portals, meaning that players can buy extra time for damage to be dealt, making this mini-game a bit easier for players to blast through.

It should be noted that Portals will shift positions throughout this mini-game, though the Portals on the left will always be the entrance when the Portals on the right will always be the exit.

I, ZOMBIE GAME PACK

I, Zombie Game Pack is a game pack that cann be purchased on all iOS devices as well as the Android version of Plants Vs Zombies, including the iPad.

I, Zombie requires players to place Zombies in order to eat Plants that are made out of cardboard.

Players will have the option of placing a number of Zombies that cost them Sun, though players need to be strategic as to which Zombies they place as there is a chance the Zombie will die before they reach the house.

After all brains are eaten they will win I, Zombie.

Players will want to play the I, Zombie Endless mini-game if they are hohping to grind out coins as every time they have three streaks they will be rewarded with Chocolate, a Money Bag, Gold Coins or a Diamond.

The I, Zombie Game Pack costs $150,000 to purchase.

VASEBREAKER GAME PACK

The Vasebreaker Game Pack provides players with all Vasebreaker levels and costs players $150,000.

The Vasebreaker Game Pack can be bought on all devices including all iOS devices, including the HD iPad as well as all Android devices.

LAST STAND GAME PACK

The Last Stand Game Pack provides players with all Last Stand levels and costs players $100,000.

The Last Stand Game Pack can be bought on all devices including all iOS devices, including the HD iPad as well as all Android devices.

ZEN GARDEN

Players will have the option to purchase many upgrade options, items, Plants and environments that can only be used on their Zen Garden.

Players may want to purchase many of the Zen Garden items first as the Zen Garden is one of the fastest ways to collect coins to buy other upgrades, though players will need a good amount of Plants before this is possible.

The following are all of the items players can puchase:

MARIGOLD SPROUT

The Marigold Sproud costs $2,500 or $5,000 and providdes players with a Marigold.

Players will be able to purchase a total of 3 Marigolds per day.

If players are spendng a lot of time in their Zen Garden they can purchase all three Marigold Sprouts per day in order to begin fueling their Zen Garden.

Players will only want to buy Marigolds if they have Stinky The Snail as they can essentially AFK after feeding Stinky Chocolate.

SPROUT (RED GIFT)

Plant Vs Zombies Free Online

Sprouts cost $7,500 and allow players to receive a random Plant.

Players can only buy one Sprout per day.

BRONZE MYSTERY SPROUT

The Bronze Mystery Plant costs $15,000 and has a 25% chance to produce a Plant that players do not have.

SILVER MYSTERY SPROUT

The Silver Mystery Sproud costs $30,000 and has a 50% chance to produce a Plant that players do not have.

GOLD MYSTERY SPROUT

The Gold Mystery Plant costs $50,000 and has a 100% chance to produce a Plant that players do not have.

GOLD WATERING CAN

The Gold Watering can is a bit of a useless purchase that costs $10,000, allowing players to water up to four Plants at a time.

Players will want to purchase a Gold Watering Can last as it is not a necessity.

FERTILIZER

Fertilizer costs $750 for 5 packs and will be required if players want to make their Plants grow.

After watering a Plant three times, it will ask for a Fertilizer unless it is already grown.

BUG SPRAY

Bug Spray costs $1.000 for 5 and must be given to Plants after they are full-grown and watered 3 times for the day.

Providing a Plant that asks for it with Bug Spray will cause it to glow, dropping coins for the rest of the day.

PHONOGRAPH

The Phonograph costs $15,000 and must be given to Plants after they are full-grown and watered 3 times for day.

Providing a Plant that asks for the Phonograph with the Phonography will cause it to glow, dropping coins for the rest of the day.

GARDENING GLOVE

The Gardening Glove costs $1,000 and allows players with the ability to move their Plants around the Zen Garden.

MUSHROOM GARDEN

The Mushroom Garden costs $30,000 and is the only place players can place nocturnal Plants in order for them to grow to fullsize.

If players do not have the Mushroom Garden unlocked, they will remain in the regular Zen Garden and will remain asleep, not allowing players to collect coins from them.

AQUARIUM GARDEN

The Aquarium Garden costs $30,000 and is the only place players can place aquatic Plants in order for them to grow to fullsize.

If players do not have the Aquatic Garden unlocked, they will remain in the regular Zen Garden and will remain asleep, not allowing players to collect coins from them.

WHEEL BARROW

The Wheel Barrow costs $200 and will allow players to move Plants between the regular Zen Gaden, Mushroom Garden and Aquarium Garden.

The Wheel Barrow is required if players obtain any aquarium or mushroom Plants.

STINKY THE SNAIL

Stinky the Snail costs $3,000 and will collect any money that Plants drop.

Stinky the Snail will stay awake for 3 minutes before it falls asleep again, requiring players to click on Stinky the Snail to wake him up again.

Players can feed Stinky a piece of Chocolate to cause him to accelerate and stay awake for a full hour.

Players will want to purchase Stinky the Snail if they want to make money passively as they will not need to stay in the Zen Garden in order for him to pick up coins.

TREE OF WISDOM

The Tree of Wisdom is one of the most useless purchases players can make early on and should only be purchased when players have made all other purchases.

The Tree of Wisdom costs $10,000 and can be fed Tree Food in order to provide players with tips until it has grown to 1,000 feet.

The Tree of Wisdom will also provide players with three cheats, “Daisies” being acquired at 100 feet, “Dance” at 500 feet and Pinata at 1,000 feet.

TREE FOOD

Tree Food can be purchased for $2,500 and must be fed to the Tree of Wisdom.

HOUSE BLUEPRINTS

Players who are playing on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita will have access to different cosmetics for their house.

Players will have to buy the cosmetics in order.

Zombies In Plants Vs Zombies

The following are the purchases that can be made in Crazy Dave’s Twiddydinkies that do not fit into any of the other categories.

Plants Vs Zombies Yard

IMITATER

The Imitater is an extremely important Plant that players can purchase from Crazy Dave’s Twiddydinkies as it will allow players to place a duplicate of any Plant they desire.

The Imitater costs $30,000 and will have the same cooldown and cost of the Plant it imitates.

It should be noted that the Imitater has a small animation before it transforms into the Plant of the player’s choice, meaning that the Imitater could technically be eaten before it transforms. Players are advised to place the Imitater pre-emptively if they are hoping to transform it into a defensive Plant like the Wall-nut or Tall-nut.

WALL-NUT FIRST AID

The Wall-nut First Aid is a purchase players will want especially if they want to play Survival: Endless games.

For the cost of $2,000, players will have the option of healing their Wall-nuts, Tall-Nuts or Pumpkins whenever they have taken any damage, though it is recommended that players only use it when any of them have taken 2/3 of their damage.

BACON

Bacon can be purchased on iOS, Android, Kindle Fire and Nintendo DSiWare, though it has no purpose and is simply a waste of money.

Plants Vs Zombies House Blueprints Free

Players will have to spend $50 on their first purchase and then pay $500 for any purchase after that.

MALLETS

Mallets are another form of defense when playing any Puzzle Mode, Last Stand or Survival Mode for both iOS or Android.

Players will be able to use a mallet to deal 750 DPS to any Zombie wacked, having a few wacks before the Mallet dissapears.

Players will only have 5 Mallets for free, though they can purchase more in bundles. Players may want to buy more in a pack for cheaper.

The prices are:

Three for $3000

Six for $5000

Nine for $7000

As is with Garden Rakes, Mallets are not a necessity, but are a better purchase as they affect more Zombies.
